Background to the Role:

Due to numerous recent client wins, we seek a highly skilled and commercially astute Marketing Manager to lead and execute our clients’ social media initiatives here at Rapid. As Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of social media strategies that align with our clients’ objectives and drive engagement, growth and brand awareness across various social platforms with a key focus on Meta and TikTok.

You’ll manage and direct a team of three marketing executives and take the lead in a front-facing role with our clients. It is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the Countries most recognised brands such as CastleCourt Shopping Centre, The Boulevard, Ninth Wave Irish Gin, Born and Bred, Magheramorne Estate, Bob & Berts and many more.

What can you expect:

You will play a key role in shaping and developing our Marketing Department and will also contribute to Rapid’s wider vision, strategy and integrated goals as a standout agency in Northern Ireland.

Key elements of the role:

Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns that align with our client’s goals, target audiences, industry and social trends. 

  • Lead our social team, providing guidance and mentorship to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within the team.
  • Collaborate with our brand and web departments to ensure cohesive social media integration with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Analyse social media metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates and emerging new technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage relationships with clients and provide strategic guidance and regular performance updates.
  • Develop strategy, language, tone and style of content for social channels.

What’s important to us:

We are looking for an individual with creativity, commercial awareness and ambition to help drive our social department forward into 2024 and beyond.

It is crucial that you have:

  • A proven track record of leading and developing marketing teams
  • A thorough understanding of Meta Business Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Knowledge and experience with Facebook Pixels, Audiences, Catalogues and Ad Campaigns with experience in ROAS, A/B Testing CTAs, etc.
  • A deep understanding of organic channels and algorithms for Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • A flair for creative copywriting for social media campaigns, email marketing and blogs.
  • A thorough knowledge of how to build a brand on social media.
  • A proven track record of developing and coordinating successful campaigns across platforms at pace.
  • The strategies and tactics for achieving a consistent brand on social media.
  • Minimum three years experience in a similar role
  • A proven track record of building brands on social media
