Attention all marketers, influencers and social media savvies! You can now schedule posts, monetise your content and access your analytics all in one place. Behold the addition of Creator Studio. This is a platform created by Facebook to give flexible profile controls, simplify messaging and give access to growth tools.

Creator Studio had originally only been made for Facebook Pages, but this year we’ve seen the addition of Instagram and we’re happy to hear it.

Whilst we feel like there are a few kinks that Creator Studio still needs to iron out on the platform, all in all it’s a great space to keep your finger on the pulse!

So, what can you do on Creator Studio?
  • Schedule posts on Facebook and Instagram
  • Schedule IGTV videos (formerly these had to be posted organically!)
  • See your analytics or “Insights” under one tab
  • View Activity Insights & Audience Insights separately
  • Manage messages to your accounts

Creator Studio is fundamentally for everyone and anyone who creates content. It values the ability to see it on the one platform, alongside analytics and other cool functions.

The Content Library allows you to sort among post types, statuses, dates, and other filters to view the activity of posts. For example, you can see how many views a post received and its engagement.

The inbox view allows you to manage comments and messages directly from within Creator Studio. This means it is quick and easy to reply to the messages you receive.

Facebook said,

“Creator Studio brings together all the tools you need to effectively post, manage, monetise and measure content across all your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. It also helps you take advantage of new features and monetisation opportunities that you may be eligible for.”

All in all, we think this is a great addition on behalf of Facebook and look forward to seeing where the tool will go moving forward. We also see where there are a lot of additional extras that could be added on to help creators – what do you think?
