Motherbump is on a journey to become Belfast’s most trusted and cherished antenatal course. The GP-led classes are here to inform, to support and to reassure, creating a calm, welcoming environment where every woman feels heard, understood and empowered. 

Because motherhood might begin with you, but it was never meant to be done alone. 

Brand

Motherbump’s brand identity was crafted with every curve and every detail designed to feel warm, human and reassuring. Motherbump is a safe place to grow confidence, embrace change and carry the knowledge that you’re not walking this road alone, and it was important for the brand identity to reflect this.

The logo’s letterforms link together in a flowing line to echo the connections at the heart of Motherbump, providing a visual thread that says you’re part of something bigger, and you’re never alone. The wordmark features a gentle incline, making a subtle nod to the journey of forward movement that every mother takes. 

A curated colour palette blends soft, nurturing tones with a quiet vibrancy, bringing together colours that feel gentle to the eye yet full of life. This balance mirrors the journey of motherhood itself: calm and grounded, yet brimming with movement, emotion and possibility.

To ensure the calming brand identity comes to life in the course itself, an array of bespoke merchandise was created, including tote bags, business cards, and presentation files to house course materials.  

Website

Motherbump’s new website serves as a welcoming hub for expecting mothers to easily explore the classes on offer, access weekly content, and understand the class programme at a glance. With a clean, approachable design and clear navigation, the website includes features such as class schedules and detailed descriptions to provide support and engagement throughout their antenatal journey. 

Marketing

To bring the brand to life digitally and launch it on social media, we created a dynamic social media presence to introduce the expert team and showcase the upcoming antenatal courses. Through this, we highlight the expertise and approachability of the team to build brand awareness and excitement for the upcoming courses, but also encourage connection, conversation and support among expecting mothers, helping Motherbump establish a welcoming online community from the very beginning of their journey.
