Project Overview


With their first store opening in Portstewart in 2013, Bob & Berts has been shaking up the coffee industry with their ‘Proper Coffee and Great Grub’ approach ever since.

At Rapid Agency, we’ve been working alongside Bob & Berts as they continue to expand across UK regions. Our marketing and design expertise support them in growing their customer base, expanding their market presence and refining the digital experience of their brand.


What did Bob & Berts need?


Bob & Berts already has a strong brand presence across Northern Ireland. As part of working with Rapid, the aim is to increase brand awareness within England and Scotland as they continue to grow and open stores in these areas. Through digital marketing strategy and assistance, our aim is to capture the attention of new customers across the three regions and beyond.

As the Bob & Berts brand continues to grow, the team wanted to refine their digital presence in line with business growth and store expansion. The focus was on enhancing the customer experience through digital interactions with their brand. As well as this, we focused on creating a website navigation that drives footfall.

Further to this, Bob & Berts wanted to improve the overall digital experience for their customer. This bridged the gap between the customer’s experience across social media and digital channels with their in-store experience.

Web Design & Development


As part of refining their digital presence, Rapid worked with Bob & Berts to update their brand identity. Their updated brand identity rolled out across digital channels. This includes the design and development of a new website.

In line with their brand growth, a key function of their refreshed website was to drive footfall to local stores. This makes it as easy as possible for all potential customers through integrating location searches within the website. The website uses GPS to locate nearby stores for website uses and providing direction to get there.

Campaign Ideation, Creation and Management


We work hand in hand with the internal marketing team at Bob & Berts to identify upcoming campaigns for the brand. Once these are outlined, we provide campaign art direction. This includes relevant content creation, develop campaign concepts, build out all campaign assets. We also manage the delivery of campaigns through printing required, social media assets, email marketing and paid ads.

Graphic Design


Graphic design support further to campaign management includes developing the digital brand identity and creating a consistent digital and in-store experience for all customers. This includes consideration of how social media links with in-store screens. We also craft in-store menu animations, creating the relevant design assets for the brand to achieve consistency across all platforms.

Paid Social Media Management


Our Paid Social Media Management with Bob & Berts focuses on supporting underperforming stores. The aim is to increase both brand awareness and engagement and most importantly, to drive footfall to these stores. 

Our Paid Social Media Management strategy is tied to the Bob & Berts email marketing strategy. Developed by Rapid this strategy, drives sign ups to the brand newsletter and collects relevant data. As a result, we can support campaign goals and nurture relationships with customers.

Email Marketing


Through development of a clear email marketing strategy, Rapid supports Bob & Berts through creation of engaging, customer-focused and design-driven email campaigns. These are crated in line with each campaign running in-store. These are created with the purpose of encouraging customers to visit their local Bob & Berts and enjoy relevant menu specials with friends and family.

The Results


At Rapid Agency, we’re enjoying an ongoing working relationship with Bob & Berts and look forward to continuing to support the Northern Ireland coffee shop brand.

Our results to date have seen positive feedback from in-store employees and customers alike. Additionally, we’ve seen positive growth of engagement and reach across social media platforms, brand consistency across Instagram and TikTok. The team have also benefitted from positive product sales in response to relevant campaigns.
