Born & Bred showcases the best Belfast has to offer, stocking unique, handmade products from over 85 local artists in Northern Ireland.
Linzi originally approached us to create a corporate website. As the business grew, she recognised there was a demand for corporate gifting in Northern Ireland. This resulted in her wanting to create a separate side of the already well-established business to suit the needs of these B2B customers.
The main aim of this corporate website was to create an easy-to-navigate, user-friendly Shopify platform for larger corporate companies to create and purchase large amounts of gifting orders. The new platform also allows customers to create the perfect gift box for their clients and employees through a ‘box builder’.
Additional features of the Shopify platform allow Linzi and the team at Born & Bred to regularly update their website with a Content Management System, easily track stock levels and make use of upselling and geo-targeting software.
With over 5.3m tourists visiting Northern Ireland in 2019, Born & Bred came to us with a desire to highlight the best of Belfast to boost Northern Irish tourism in a post-COVID world. This resulted in a 4-month tourism marketing campaign for Born & Bred.
We designed two 2-month social media marketing campaigns aimed towards tourists. These campaigns for Summer and Winter focused on Born & Bred’s key products, whilst also playing on their key products and highlighting some of Belfast’s most famous sights.
The Born & Bred Guide to Belfast was created in-house by our graphic design team at Rapid Agency, which highlighted some of Linzi and the Born & Bred team’s favourite places to visit around Belfast.
Born & Bred’s newest map highlights the most famous areas of Belfast, featuring some great local businesses and encouraging tourists to experience some of Belfast’s true gems – an Ulster Fry, a bowl of stew and a pint of Guinness.
The Born & Bred Guide to Belfast was designed for digital and print use, with printed maps available in-store at Born & Bred, and digitised maps available to download from the website.
The team at Born & Bred have been growing rapidly over the last few years, becoming a well-known brand in Belfast and showcasing the best of Irish talent.
As a business built on community, you’re a part of Born & Bred whether you buy a gift for yourself, loved ones or as a token from your trip. Our Brand Strategy and Refresh included a new tagline and iconography to warmly welcome everyone to embrace their own ‘wee piece of home’.
As a well-known brand representing true Irish roots, Born & Bred sought to create a marketing campaign that showcases the relentless spirit that comes from being born and bred in Ireland.
We selected a range of key influencers from across Northern Ireland who reflect what Born & Bred is all about – community, playfulness and sustainability. Coming from all walks of life, the chosen influencers demonstrated that whether your day-to-day involves glitz and glamour, a trip to the farm or a round in the ring, you’ll always find a wee piece of home at Born & Bred.
Born & Bred’s new website design in Belfast has boasted great success, with the average cart conversion rate and return on investment increasing. As well as this, the tourism marketing campaign has resulted in increased engagement and followers for Born & Bred’s social media channels.
